I’ve been resisting the whole zen doodling craze, not because I don’t like to doodle, but because I’m mad that I wasn’t the one who figured out how to make all that money from doodling. I mean, who knew? It sure wasn’t me!
Recently, though, I needed to make some ATC’s for a swap, and the theme for the swap was black and white, either in pen and ink or graphite. I was in the mood to do some ink work so I decided to break down and try some of that fancy doodling. Once I started, I just couldn’t stop. Just like it’s always been…even before it had a copyrighted name and fancy kits you can buy…doodling is relaxing and fun. Here are some of the designs I came up with:

They call them zentangles. I also did some of these doodles. I agree it is relaxing and fun!
I love your doodling!!!! I wsh I could do it. I can’t even think of things to draw, let alone draw them.
i really like the three flower ones!

Hi Yael,
Your paper cutting is amazing! You have my permission to use the doodles I have posted in my “I’ve Caught the Doodle Bug” post, and I’d love to feature them here when you’ve finished them.
